Guru Rinpoche's Ku

In the fall of 2018 after having the gate set up and the swimming pool removed, Namgay Rinpoche with the help of Lama Pema chose and ordered a Guru Rinpoche Ku for Orgyen Cho Dzong Retreat that was sent from Nepal. It was one of Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche's wishes before he entered into Mahaparanirvana. The Ku took several months to be built and finally arrived at OCDR in April:

Before the Guru Rinpoche Ku could be properly displayed, a consecration ceremony had to be done to ask the local spirits of the land to use the area. Fortunately during this time, Bakha Tulku Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche were visiting OCDR for Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche's Mahaparanirvana Anniversary, so Rinpoche took the opportunity and requested both Rinpoche's to perform the consecration ceremony, which they gladly accepted:

Several months later, at Rinpoche's request, the Karmarong arrived to build a Throne for Guru Rinpoche Ku:

The Throne took two days to be built. After it was set up, Rinpoche went to bless and place relics inside the Throne. On the day, Tulku Pema Wangyal and Tulku Rangdrol gave us a surprise visit:

Throughout the summer, sangha members took their time to come and paint the Throne as part of the plan. The throne's details were designed by Lopon Tandin, and painting effort were all put by the volunteering sangha members.

After three days of constant work from sangha members, Guru Rinpoche's Ku was finally properly set up:
